Valentines Day!

We had a great Valentines day. I got up early that morning and made Curt a special breakfast with my Grandmas amazing syrup recipe. I made french toast, eggs, fried potatoes and orange juice. Yum! Then he took me on a date on Saturday. It was a suprise and he planned it all by himself. We started off the day with Starbucks, who can beat that, and then our first stop was the "Unsinkable Molly Brown" house. I grew up watching that movie and then of course everyone who is a Titanic fan knows her from that movie also. I was so amazed that he remembered that I liked that movie and would love to see her real house! Isnt he awesome. Then we went to the Colorado History musem which was lovely also. After that he took me to one of my favorite restaraunts the "Old Spagetti Factory". He actually doesnt like that place so it was a huge sacrifice for him to take me there :) After that we went downtown Denver and went shopping and then to a movie. We went to the Cheesecake Factory afterwards and got dessert. Yum! What a perfect day and what a wonderful husband!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day together, although I have to take Curts side on his dislike for the "Spaghetti Factory", sorry!!! I love the pictures of the future make-up artists below. Those girls are too cute!

Kel, I have to agree. Thomas & I both don't care for the Spaghetti Factory. I'm not a great cook, but I think I make better spaghetti than they do. Anyway, I'm glad you had fun. What a thoughtful husband you have! It's time for you to make a baby :)

Growing up we didnt get to got out to eat very much, pastors family with 4 kids at a small church in North Idaho. So, when we would stay with my Dads parents they would take us to the Spaghetti Factory as a special treat. I loved it! To sit in the trolley and have the bread with the two different kinds of butter, garlic or plain and then get spumoni icecream with the gross dried fruit in it that you had to spit out! Such awesome memories. That is why I love the "Spaghetti Factory." I agree, now that I am older and I get to go to anykind of restaraunt that I want to, the food at the Spaghetti Factory is not the best out there. But when I do go, and its once every few years, my mind races with memories and I love it. But truthfully, the Brown Butter with Mizithra cheeze dish is pretty good :) As for "baby time" :) Who knows! Lis, it took you and Thomas 5 years and we arent even at our 3rd wedding anniversay. And, as far as I can tell from talking to a lot of women on the getting pregnant subject, not all guys swimmers are as determind as those Potts boys!! LOL!!!! We shall see!
