The Kids

Christmas with my family

I couldn't bear the thought of not having Christmas with my family so we decided to have Christmas right after Thanksgiving. My Mom and Dad had just gotten back from Israel and they brought us all Nativity's made out of olive wood. What a cool gift! And its always fun watching the kids open gifts. The boys got Garbage trucks but when my Mom bought them she didn't realize that they made noise. That was quite enjoyable hearing two dump truck noises out of sync for the whole night.

Thanksgiving with my Family

This year Thanksgiving was with my family and what fun it was :) Isn't that picture of Curt holding Owen adorable? Curt's Sweater was scratchy so Owen out his arm in front of his face to sheild it. I love it!This is my Dads side of the family. We went to his brothers house for Thanksgiving day. My Dads parents are still alive but Grandpa Beal is almost 90 and doesn't like a lot going on around him so he opted to stay home. Grandma Beal came though and we are sure glad that she did. Aunt Teri's parents came also which was a nice treat. They own a restaurant and have had to work on Thanksgiving for the last 25 years. Wow! It was so nice to have Josslyn and Owen around this year. I love my nieces and nephews!

Welcome Josslyn Ann Farley!!!

Jana had her baby last Saturday! It was fun to finally find out that it was a girl! I was hoping for a girl because if they had a boy then it would be 4 boys against Jules in our family. I was lucky to get to be up in Seattle for her birth and get to spend time with the kids. She is just beautiful! Definately looks like Jules when she was born accept less grumpy looking. But poor Jules was stuck behind Jana's pelvic bone for 5 hours before they had to do an emergency C-section, so I think that would make anyone look grumpy. Jace and Jules love her! They are so sweet and gentle. Jules would hold her and kept saying to her, "hey girl, hows my sissy'? It was so cute! We are so happy she is finally with us. She was 8lbs 6oz, 21 1/4 inches long. More hair than Jules and Jace had combined. What fun!!! I love babies.

Trunk or Treat

So we had Bob the Builder, Raggady Any and a Pumpkin for this years costumes. Arent they stinking cute!!! Bob the Builder (Eliot) went out Trick or Treating with his friend Koda (Dakota) and she dressed up as a Lady Bug. They only went to a few peoples homes but Lindsay and Michelle (Dakota's Mom) would prompt them to say trick or treat but they would say,"thank you" instead. Isnt that cute!
Jules and Jace's church has what they call Trunk or Treat every year. People in the church decorate the trunks of their cars and put games and such in them. Then they park them in the parking lot and the kids go around playing games and getting candy. Jana said that they got there a little early so they just walked around waiting for it to start. Jace and Jules got a few peices of candy before they started Trunk or Treating and so Jana said they could eat some. Julia took out a small sucker and that is all she had but Jace ate M&M's, a Reeces pieces stick, a small hershey bar and skittles before Jana caught on to him! LOL!! He takes after me.... I just love candy and have no self control!
Jules thought it was hilarious that she got to be a boy like her Dad and Brother for the night. Oh, kids! You gotta love them.
